Minnie C Gallman
Photography is a creative outlet that encourages me to look at the world in a different way. I enjoy photographing a variety of subjects – architecture, abstracts, people, boats, monuments, and old cars. My primary interest is nature photography which presents a constant challenge to create photographs of something that is familiar to all of us. I am a member of both the Chapel Hill Camera Club and Carolina Nature Photography Association. To expand my photographic experience, I have attended workshops by Dewitt Jones, Freeman Patterson, Andre Gallant, Marc Muench, and Mark Buckler. I currently have an exhibit at the UNC Hillel and sell note cards at the North Carolina Botanical Garden. I was awarded second place in the Chatham County Garden Club photography contest. One of my photos was juried into the exhibit at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center. I believe that my photography will complement other Guild members art. I am ready to be a member of the Guild and volunteer to do what needs to be done to continue to make this organization a success.
