Jim Aiken‘s painting, entitled “Fall Pleasures”, is juried into the flagship exhibit of the Bryan Memorial Gallery in Jeffersonville, Vermont. This painting is an acrylic on canvas, 48” h x 36” w. It stimulates the senses associated with autumn in Vermont: Camel’s Hump, viewed from Huntington, covered with an early high elevation snowfall, the motion of colorful leaves blowing, the sounds of wind in the trees and the falling water, and the serenity of a clear pool of flowing water.
This exhibition of New England Landscapes is themed: Land & Light & Water & Air and is Bryan Memorial Gallery’s largest exhibit of traditional landscape and plein airworks. This is an amazing display which brings viewers to some of the most beautiful vistas around New England, in mediums that range from painted silks to watercolor and gouache. This is the only exhibit for which the Gallery presents awards.
The exhibit is free and open to the public and will be on display until December 22, 2024.
