The Chatham Artists Guild is presenting their 32nd Annual Open Studio Tour. Come visit actual studios where artists create their best in contemporary and traditional fine art and craft. This experience allows you to see where their creativity begins and ends – a process not always found in a gallery or museum setting.
The Tour is always held on the first two full weekends in December, self-guided, FREE and open to the public. Red triangles identify studios on our printed and interactive online map. Look for the numbered red triangle signs posted along Chatham County roads.
What’s the BEST day to take the tour?
Make sure the artist’s studio you just must see is open the weekend you go. The studio tour has artists who are FIRST or SECOND WEEKEND ONLY and are marked accordingly on our printed and interactive online map. Some think the best items are sold first day, so that could be another consideration. Otherwise, there is not much else that differentiates days/weekends to go — excepting the weather of course! Midday does seem to see the most visitors.
Help us welcome 5 new artist/members to their FIRST Studio Tour. Make a point to visit these folks. We know you will love them!
