Jody Nash Teaching 2 classes at TheArtsCenter in Carrboro
Intermediate Basket Making: Coiled Pine Needle is a 4-week course aimed at students who have had some exposure to basket making, but you do not need to be an expert! You will complete 2 baskets during the course. All materials are provided, but it is recommended that you bring a small craft pliers to use in class.
When: 4-week course, Wednesdays, April 24 – May 15.
Time: 12-3pm
Where: 400 Roberson St., Carrboro, NC
Cost: $164 (plus $15 Materials Fee to instructor on first day of class).
Intermediate Soft Pastel is a 4-week course, suitable for those with some previous experience with soft pastel or other painting mediums. Jody will build on lessons from her beginning pastel course, with landscape as subject, exploring clouds, shadows and reflections.
Some materials will be provided, but students will bring their own soft pastels and 9×12 sanded paper, as well as an assortment of brushes.
When: 4-week course, Thursdays, April 25 – May 16.
