Race Amity Day, presented by Partners in Racial Justice and the Chatham County Unity Coalition, is an annual event focused on building relationships to eliminate racism. The 2025 theme, “One Human Family,” encourages unity and compassion. The Chatham Artists Guild will offer children’s art activities and showcase a county-wide open art exhibit featuring works by students and adult artists related to the theme, with awards announced during the event. Volunteers from the Guild include Louise Hobbs, Steevie Parks, Leslie Palmer, Cally Curtis, Susan Cartledge, Darcy Szeremi, and Anna Julian.
