This current body of work in soft pastels grew out of a move in 2020 from California to
North Carolina. It represents Jody Nash’s five year intense exploration of the medium
and how light can be expressed on paper with the goal to understand the complex
relationships between color, light, composition, and the emotions they evoke. The
opening reception is July 6th from 3-5 pm. The public is welcome. Visitors can view
Jody’s art before 1 pm during the week. If the door is locked, contact the office staff at
