The Chatham Artists Guild’s Emerging Artist Program, which pairs high school students with Guild professional artists, celebrated its talented students at the Pittsboro First Sunday Market on June 7th, 2026. Young artists from local schools showcased and sold their artwork, demonstrating skills gained through mentorship and hands-on workshops.
The Emerging Artists Class of 2026, representing Jordan-Matthews High School, Northwood High School, and Chatham Early College, includes Carolina Rice, Charlize Jimenez-Rojo, Fabiola Vasquez, Maya Torres, Toby Garcia, and Tumani Sissoko.
