I am an artist based in Chatham County, NC, with a profound passion for capturing the human spirit through portraiture. My specialties include oil paint, pastels, graphite, and charcoal, through which I aim to connect viewers not merely with a realistic depiction, but with a true reflection of the subject’s unique identity. The magical process of bringing a portrait to life with light and color continually inspires and fuels my artistic pursuits. Each portrait I undertake is a unique adventure and challenge, keeping the art of portrait painting exhilarating and deeply rewarding for me.

Alongside my personal creations, I teach drawing and oil painting classes from my home studio. My students range from middle and high schoolers to adults, allowing me to share my artistic passion and nurture the abilities of others within my community.
