I began leatherwork while in Lubbock, Texas during the mid-1980s as a hobby. When I retired from the Federal Government in 2006, I returned to it and it has since become my passion. I primarily make functional items with tooled or stamped themes taken from nature. Examples include purses, wallets, padfolios, briefcases, holsters, sheathes, key fobs, jewelry, etc. I also make purely decorative art such as mixed media dream catchers/makers, covered skulls, pictures, etc. I mainly work with vegetable tanned cowhide, but also use exotic leathers (kangaroo, stingray, lizard, caiman, etc.)
Visitors are welcome by appointment. For the current times, please follow appropriate precautions (masks etc.).
