Read the artist’s story

In this ever-changing world, art is my method to find contentment and find peace. I love to create and continuously learn. It grounds me.

I am passionate about color AND texture.  This affinity compels me to combine pottery with glass and wood for diverse presentation.  I crave and enjoy the challenge of engineering and employing new glazes, new techniques and new combinations of materials to create interesting pieces that can be enjoyed in daily life.

My fascination with ceramics and art started as a young girl. It was a common interest that I shared with my grandmother that lived in the NC mountains.  It was there that I grew to appreciate true craftsmanship and art. Today, I am grateful to be able to grow this love and share it with others.
