What inspires me? Quite simply, it’s the people and places I’ve known in my life through living and travelling in various parts of our world. These many vivid experiences continuously influence and shape my work.
Design. Quiet moments. Folklore. The art of other cultures. Nature itself. Perspective. Colors. Atmosphere. The play of light. The folds in fabrics and landscapes. All fire my imagination.
I’m primarily a painter. My styles range from storybook to a more advanced approach some call “stylized realism.” I also work in 3-D multi-media and floral design, art forms that open a new universe of exciting creative possibilities.
Working in the studio is my happy place. Giving life to the images I see inside is always an adventure, a process I absolutely love and treasure.
