Hello and thanks for visiting my page!
I’m a graduate of the University of Georgia, with a B.F.A. in Fine Art and Art Education. I opened my first studio in 2000 in Decatur, GA, working by commission and as a teaching artist for museums and schools throughout Greater Atlanta. I was also Artist in Residence for a multi-cultural church where I often facilitated art workshops for children, adults and seniors.
Our family lived in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, Southern Africa until I left for university in the States. Since then, I have lived in or visited many places throughout the USA, Central America and Europe. You’ll quickly see that my work is very much inspired by these experiences – by the people and cultures I’ve been privileged to come to know.
My painting style is varied. I work mostly in acrylics and also have fun dabbling in fabrics and mixed-media. I hope you enjoy what you see.
