I make art for the joy of discovery and to share light with the world. Every time I enter my studio I feel a shift in consciousness and my motto is “I wonder what would happen if…” It is the most fun I know how to have and I am never happier than when I am creating something. Time ceases to exist for me when I am in the studio and I am transported to an amazing world of color and shape and possibility. There is no judgment in this space and I am at peace here. I started out painting with oils, moved to acrylics and am now totally in love with alcohol inks. I started college as an art major, but quickly realized that four years of copying “the masters” was not for me. I left and didn’t do any more art for 20 years. Now, here I am again, embracing the wonder of creation; in color, texture, form and formlessness. It feels like home. A joyous, peaceful, exciting and much longed for home.
