My artist statement:
I delight in the creative process. It gives me energy, frees my spirit. My role as an artist is to nurture the creative space within me. I invite viewers to explore my paintings, let their spirit dance or rest in my world of imagery, colors, and mood. In my subjects, I search to capture the beauty and the mundane in the belief that G-d travels incognito. I find drama in layered color, understated texture, and subtle brush movements. This visual poetry speaks directly in the language of the soul, emotions…of intuition. My desire is to encourage reflection, quiet contemplation- a respite from life’s chatter.

Introducing my new series:
Inherited Stillness is a series of watercolor still lifes centered on objects passed from one generation to the next. Each painting brings together heirloom items – a tea cup, a piece of jewelry, a journal, a pocket watch, a recipe, a cut glass crystal vase—objects that reflect a life lived, a moment remembered shaped by touch, use, and care. The work reflects how love and memory reside quietly within treasured domestic rituals. They are held in a moment that endures.
If you have treasured items you would like me to capture in this series please contact me.
