I am inspired by the life and environment that surrounds me. I attempt to capture the beauty that occurs in my everyday life. I spend time thinking about how I can sometimes convey a simple story or to share what I see with others. It’s like taking a walk with someone and saying “hey look at that. Isn’t that great?!” It’s also saying I was there I am here. I feel that oil paints allow me to share the luminosity of what I see and want to show the best.
Painting and making art is my Ikigai. Ikigai is a Japanese expression that describes one’s purpose in life. It is the thing that gets me out of bed in the morning. Painting and art add depth and peace to my world
