North Carolina native, Nancy Ann Moore captures the beauty and joy of life through her diverse artistic talents. From watercolor paintings and detailed drawings to lively needle felting, clay sculptures, and sweeping murals, Nancy’s work embodies a unique blend of simplicity and ethereal beauty. Her art reflects her passion for fashion and a profound appreciation for her subjects, often focusing on people, animals, and the natural world.
Nancy pursued her love for art by earning a degree in fashion illustration from the Art Institute of America in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She is an active member of both the Chatham Artists Guild and the Durham Art Guild, communities that celebrate creativity and artistic excellence.
Her artistic endeavors include commissioned portraits, illustrations, sculptures and personal projects. Nancy is also dedicated to sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for art by teaching classes at the Carrboro ArtCenter and live illustrating at events. She lives with her family in picturesque Chatham County, where the beauty of her surroundings continues to inspire her work.
