Guild member Beth Bale will be teaching watercolor painting for beginners to intermediate students at Artworks Vass in Vass, NC, south of Sanford, for several upcoming classes, plus a series of four classes in the spring / summer.
Join Beth on Saturday, Feb. 3rd from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon for a watercolor painting class focused on chickens and birds. This class is appropriate for beginners to intermediate painters who want to delve deeper into this wonderful medium.
A 3-hour class on March 2 is focused on painting florals in watercolor. Beth’s series of four classes at Artworks Vass starts in April and includes one class each month through July.

During every class Beth teaches watercolor techniques, does a demo of the subject while students paint their own paintings. Beth provides paints, paper, brushes and palettes for the single, 3-hour classes. Beth is an experienced painter and teacher with decades of watercolor painting knowledge and is an encouraging and fun instructor.
Beth is a signature member of the Watercolor Society of NC and shows her work at several regional galleries including at Artworks Vass. Beth usually paints the subjects close to her heart, such as her own horses, chickens, farm, cats, dogs and the beautiful NC landscape and flora. She is a believer in the adage “Paint what you know the best”.
