Chatham Artists Guild All Members Exhibit at the Smelt Art Gallery!
The Chatham Artist Guild is excited to present its All
Members’ Exhibit at the Smelt Art Gallery. This event showcases a diverse
selection of artwork from our talented members and will be on display from
Thursday, November 21st, 2024, through January 28th, 2025.
Join us for the Opening Reception on Sunday, December 1st, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, just one week before the Studio Tour. It’s the perfect opportunity to select your studios for your Chatham County Studio Tour. Brochures/Maps are available to pick up. With 54 artists opening their studios, along with additional member artists not on the Tour this year, our Chatham community of artists offers a variety of unique gifts for everyone. You’ll find a wide range of styles and mediums at prices to fit every budget. We invite you to come and explore!
The Smelt Art Gallery will be open throughout the week and during the Studio Tour.
Hours: Sun.: 12 pm – 8 pm, Mon-Weds: 11 am-8 pm, Thurs – Fri.: 11 am-10 pm, Sat.: 12 pm-10 pm
Smelt Art Gallery is located at 213 Lorax Lane at The Plant, the Chatham Beverage District on the east side of Pittsboro.
2024 Chatham Artists Guild Studio Tour
The 2024 32nd Annual Chatham Artists Guild Studio Tour is coming up soon on Saturday, December 7th and 14th from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, and Sunday, December 8th and 15th from noon-5:00 pm
The Studio Tour is always the first two weekends of December. Take a relaxing drive through Chatham County’s rolling hills and pastoral farmlands to visit art studios located across the County. Meet the artists, learn about their process and artistic vision, and browse affordable original works of art. Paintings, prints, sculptures, pottery, photography, jewelry, glass, wood, leather, digital, and fabric art will be available for purchase. Don’t miss this once-a-year experience!
