Jim Aiken uses acrylics to paint primarily landscapes. His work emphasizes light and color in nature, although he also experiments with some more abstract motifs. “I like images that evoke the senses, not only visual, but also ones that make you feel the place, a breeze, the sound and smell of a stream, woods, or mountain air.” Above is Jim’s painting: Rockport Harbor Reflections, 30” x 30” acrylic on canvas.
