A combined 30 paintings will hang in the common areas and conference rooms of the 79 West building, which is located at 120 Mosaic Boulevard, Pittsboro, NC and is open to the public for viewing every day.
Please join the artists on Sunday the 21st of April from 1pm to 3pm at the 79° West Coworking Space for their reception. The event is free and open to the public. Plan to come and meet the artists and discuss your favorite art interests.
Cally Curtis is primarily a painter, but also works with mixed media. She says, “Working in the studio is my happy place. Giving life to the images I see inside [me] is always an adventure.” Above is one of her paintings: At The Window, 24” x 36” acrylic on canvas.

Jim Aiken uses acrylics to paint primarily landscapes. His works emphasize light and color in nature, although he also experiments with some more abstract motifs. “I like images that evoke the senses, not only visual, but also ones that make you feel the place, a breeze, the sound and smell of a stream, woods, or mountain air.” Above is Jim’s painting: Rockport Harbor Reflections, 30” x 30” acrylic on canvas.
