Join artist Cat Mahin as she teaches all about COLOR. Color Outside the Lines is a 5 WEEK COURSE designed to help students confidently paint in watercolor using the three primary colors – red, yellow and blue. Using variants of these three colors enables artists to make thousands of colors. Go to Pittsboro Gallery of Arts website to enroll.

Each week you will be creating a new color wheel and chart of colors that will be used in building your own nature portfolio or journal.The first week will be dedicated to creating color wheels and charts and practicing different watercolor techniques. Students are encouraged to practice and work at home.
This course is perfect for those who are new to watercolor but also for those who have some experience and want to better command the use of color within their artworks.
After signing up at the Pittsboro Gallery of Arts website students will be sent a materials list. Cat asks that students arrive 15 minutes early in order to set up. Refunds, unfortunately, are not available for missed classes.
