The Mockernut Show is an annual fall pottery sale hosted by Guild member Doug Dotson and Ronan Peterson at Doug Dotson Pottery. This year it will be held on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, from 10am-4pm at 305 Mockernut Rd, Pittsboro.
Doug makes earthy and lively soda fired stoneware pottery. Ronan makes highly decorated earthenware inspired by natural forces of growth and decay. Both make pottery that is made to be used and enjoyed daily. This year’s invited guests include Guild member Peg Bachenheimer. Peg will be showing her paintings which are luminous, richly layered, and a delight to be around.
