Fascinated by color and detail, I like to capture the nature surrounding me in watercolor. I discovered watercolor in the 80’s and it has been my first choice ever since.
I can never seem to articulate the inspirations I follow nor lay claim to a specific technique but the urge to paint the colors and life that I see has been with me as long as I can remember.
Named by my grandsons when they were preschoolers, “Frog pad” studio got its name through association with our old neighborhood (Prince Creek), our Lily-pad covered koi pond and the Frog Prince of fairy tale.
My work can be viewed by appointment.
