Photography is a creative outlet that encourages me to look at the world in a different way. My studio is the world and everything in it. My camera is my canvas and my lenses are my brushes. My digital darkroom allows me to refine my vision and use my imagination. I enjoy photographing a variety of subjects – architecture, abstracts, people, boats, monuments, and old cars. My primary interest is nature photography which presents a constant challenge to create photographs of something that is familiar to all of us. I am a member of the Chapel Hill Camera Club and Carolina Nature Photography Association. To expand my photographic experience, I have attended workshops by Dewitt Jones, Freeman Patterson, Andre Gallant, Marc Muench, and Mark Buckler. I currently have an exhibit at the UNC Hillel House and sell flower kaleidoscope note cards at the North Carolina Botanical Garden. One of my photos was chosen for an exhibit sponsored by the Chatham County Garden Club. Another photo was juried into the exhibit at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center. All my photos are printed on archival paper using archival inks. I sell note cards and prints.
