Enjoy the works of Chatham Artists Guild’s six new Emerging Artists at their special 2026 Exhibit hosted by the Pittsboro Gallery of Arts, 44-A Hillsboro Street, Pittsboro, NC 27312. The show runs April 7-12, with a reception on Sunday, April 12, from 2:00-4:00 PM and all are invited.
This year, the Guild’s talented Emerging Artists are Carolina Rice (11th Grade) and Charline Jimenez-Rojo (12th Grade) from Jordan Matthews High; Fabiola Vasquez (12th Grade) from Chatham Early College; and Maya Torres (10th Grade), Tumani Sissoko (11th Grade) and Toby Garcia (11th Grade) from Northwood High.
Each artist was juried into the Guild’s Emerging Artists Program last October. This free, unique program is for Chatham County high school visual arts students and provides individual mentorship by professional CAG member artists, workshops, and opportunities to show and sell their artwork at local gallery and artists market venues.
Special thanks go to our 2026 CAG Mentors who volunteer their time – Alina Cochran, Cassie Ancona, Eva Green, Lee Kazanas, Lynn Flyer and Zoe Mitchum. Learn more about the CAG Emerging Artists Program and other Education events.
Special thanks to sponsor Pittsboro Gallery of Arts for hosting this special exhibition!
