Thank-you for your interest in donating to the Chatham Artists Guild (CAG). The Guild is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible. The Guild is run by the artist members entirely on a volunteer basis. We have no paid employees. 100% of the support we receive goes to our efforts to expand the presence of the arts in Chatham County through our annual Studio Tour, ongoing art exhibitions at a variety of venues, and our educational outreach and mentoring programs. For more than 30 years, the Studio Tour has been a highlight of the Chatham holiday shopping season, attracting hundreds of art lovers who come to visit Guild artists’ studios, local shops, galleries, and restaurants.
The general goals of the Chatham Artists Guild are to:
- Provide educational activities and events to increase awareness and appreciation of the significance of the visual arts.
- Connect our community’s artists and art patrons.
- Create opportunities for artists to share resources and ideas.
- Cultivate new artists and art patrons.
The Guild operates a variety of educational programs, some offered for members, and some as public outreach to broaden appreciation for the visual arts and to attract new members to the organization. You can explore the Guild’s activities and the work of individual Guild artists on the various pages of this website.
In making a donation, you may indicate whether you’d like to remain anonymous. Note that providing your email address is required and will ensure that you receive an automated receipt response with information to claim your donation as a tax-deduction.
