Photographing 3-D artwork presents challenges. How do you capture the dimensionality, surface quality, colors, and texture of an object? Join Amy and Greg Wandless in their studio to learn how they capture the unique aspects of their beautiful and functional pottery and woodworking, from setting up a piece to be photographed to some helpful tips on editing your photos. Find out how they developed their techniques – what’s worked for them in the past and what to look out for. You’ll have an opportunity to discuss photographing your own artwork; we will even set up a few pieces brought by participants to see how lighting and background enhances 3-D artwork!
