‘Healing Power of Color’ features 66 extraordinary contemporary artists from around the world. The exhibit, on view thru March, presents positive, healing artwork using color to inspire hope, soothe frazzled nerves, restore energy, and much more. See the exhibit here.
The exhibit is hosted by The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS (HPAA), established in 2015 as an initiative of Manhattan Arts International, an organization launched in 1983 to promote emerging artists. The online exhibition was curated by Renee Phillips, Founder and Director of The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS and Manhattan Arts International, NYC, NY.
“I paint the colors that I feel and that I see in my mind’s eye and this is a central feature of all of my work. I often daydream about colors and color combinations when I meditate. Later in the day I go into my studio and attempt to recreate what I saw. Of course the paintings change as they go along, but the original impetus for my work is always about color” says Steevie Parks.
